UH-60L PPC Program

This program quickly and easily computes performance data for an U.S. Army UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter in a format similar to an U.S. Army Performance Planning Card (PPC). Specifically, the program calculates the following:

Hover:

• Torque Ratio (Single & Dual Engine)
• 2.5, 10 & 30 Minute Maximum Torques (Single & Dual Engine)
• Maximum Gross Weight IGE/OGE
• Go/No-Go IGE/OGE
• Hover Torque

Cruise:

• Vne
• TAS (Single & Dual Engine)
• Torque (Single & Dual Engine)
• Fuel Flow (Single & Dual Engine)
• Maximum Rate of Climb/Endurance IAS
• Maximum Range IAS
• Single Engine Minimum & Maximum IAS
• Single Engine Maximum Gross Weight

Miscellaneous:

• Retreating Blade Stall onset
• Moderate Turbulence Penetration IAS
• Maximum Rate of Climb
• Corrected Maximum Rate of Climb IAS
• Density Altitude
• Engine Starter Limitations
• Backup Hydraulic Pump Limitations
• Range and Endurance (time & distance)

• FAT, PA and GWt
• ETF #1 and #2
• Wheel Height
• Dual and Single Engine IAS
• Drag Area
• Torque Limit Above 80 KIAS
• Anti-Ice On/Off
• Cabin Heater On/Off
• HIRSS mode

The algorithms used in this program have been extensively tested to ensure accuracy, however it is acknowledged that errors, omissions and slight dissimilarity of data between calculated and Operator's Manual charted information exist. In all cases of discrepancies, the aircraft Operator's Manual is the final authority for resolving these disparities. Use this program at your own risk.
